Modeling and numerical simulation of flow processes of wood‐polymer composites

The combination of natural fibers and polymers is finding expanding application in a range industrial branches, knowledge the material behavior essential for further improving products processing procedure. In this work, wood-polymer composites (WPC) will be modeled numerical simulations used to investigate flow behavior. By means rheological measurements, shear thinning composite can determined, which also often taken into account simulation WPC tools. Increasing viscosity formation yield point with increasing wood content observed. However, addition shear-dominant deformation states, noticeable strain deformations occur due cross-sectional changes. order experimentally model under strain, work involves measurements on hyperbolic dies uniaxial state present extensional derived from this.
